Housing Assistance Initiatives

Thorough our partners we assist in connecting the right resources with the Right situation. There are several housing assistance programs available including: 

  • CARES Housing Assistance Program (CHAP)

    Provides assistance with rent, mortgage, and utilities to Nevada residents who have experienced financial hardship due to COVID-19 

  • Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8)

    A federal program that helps low-income families, the elderly, and people with disabilities pay for safe and sanitary housing in the private market 

  • Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

    A federally-funded program that helps low-income households pay for home heating and cooling 

  • General Emergency Assistance Program (GEAP)

    A federally-funded program that helps low-income households pay for housing needs 

  • Homeless Prevention Program

    Provides financial assistance to low and moderate-income homeowners and tenants who are at risk of eviction or foreclosure 

  • Habitat for Humanity

    Provides housing assistance and helps people find affordable shelter 

  • Emergency shelter grants

    Provides basic shelter and supportive services, and can also help prevent homelessness in the short term 

  • Homeowner Rehabilitation Assistance Program

    Provides minor and major housing improvements for low and moderate income individuals, and elderly/handicapped person
